What's up with the Android Maker...

I start seeing new Android devices that are... more like iPhone. No user removable battery. No Micro XD slot. The reason I like Android is freedom. Not just the OS but the hardware to. Please don't make them like iPhone.
 
Samsung Galaxy SIII was announced May 3: 64GB internal memory, expandable card slot, removable battery. LOL.
 
Right now "thin" is cool, so manufacturers are vying with each other to produce the slimmest handset. For some this means saving space elsewhere, but it doesn't mean that every manufacturer will follow suit. With Android you've always got choices, which is one of the platform's major selling points.
