Whats with the delay reporting.

Lately all these android news sites are posting stuff about delays and annoymus tipsters saying its delayed again. Are sites making stuff up for traffic or is there some truth to this?

Seems all people on the forums say 24 and some employies of websites also say the 24.

Uhg i hate this.
 
I am wondering the same thing. I just want to know what the general consensus is here. I feel like people just go around randomly and claim it is randomly being delayed again. I will only trust what the vets of this site say though.
 
Seems just like the Incredible launch.... a year ago I was addicted to the Inc forums waiting for any little crumb or hint when the damn thing would launch. I like a lot of things about the TBolt - kickstand, FF cam, supposed surround sound, etc. But I'm also very happy with my DX and even though I have an upgrade on the 28th of Feb I'm not sure I will go for the TBolt. The spec upgrade over my DX isn't all that great. I will most likely wait a few weeks and see user feedback and if the TBolt is all that then maybe I'll jump. Still, it's frustrating to see these continual delays with Verizon and also frustrating that Verizon doesn't get the latest/greatest phones (ala the Atrix).
 
It would be one thing if Verizon came out and said all of these dates, but they have not.
They could argue that they did not delay it, because they never gave a date.

I am sure as soon as the devices hit the stores we will know it.
So far what we have is speculation backed up by some minor facts.

Yep! Hard to have a delay when no release date in the first place ;) Makes for funny posts, though :)

No more random than folks latching on to 2/14, 2/24 and now 2/28, when VZW has NOT pegged a date.
 
At the same time, Verizon has been running ads for the Tbolt. I think they like the viral marketing. But it can piss off the small percentage of hard core enthusiasts.
