Root What's wrong with my phone :(

After I installed cm and had @totlth rom in my phone just stopped working, no warning or anything, it worked perfectly fine with the custom rom for almost a year and then one day in the car my phone just shut off and since then I couldn't get past the bootloader, I don't really expect much to come out of this I went and bought the ZTE zmax which I love but sadly there's no root support yet, just wanted to say R.I.P. To my lovely phone

Can it go to flash recovery?

If you can access flash recovery I would suggest to make your phone forget everything (factory reset)
Because something is better than nothing.

I can get to the flash recovery but I don't wanna lose what I have on the phone, ugh this sucks lol, you think factory reseting is the only option left?
