Now I can have my favourite theme chooser theme on Redux, minimal /system footprint, use /data for cache (so not to waste space on NAND using /cache partition) and run all apps and dalvik from NAND, I don't thionk I will be leaving Redux anytime soon.

Very happy with my set up right now.

what does this all mean? :D I'm interested in boosting my Desire's performances and what you just stated sounds interesting, yet very unclear to me!

I strip out a lot from system app so I get Redux to be installed at 75MB. Roms install on the /system partition. So with custom partition layout I can reduce the system partition to 75MB. On standard layout, system is 250MB. So I have saved 175MB, which has been added to the /data partition ("internal storage").

Also, since I no longer need much of a /cache partition, I have reduced this to 3MB, which means my "internal Storage" (or /data partition) is 360MB instead of the original 147MB.

It means I no longer need a partitioned SD card. Everything works on the internal memory, even with over 100 applications (like I have)

@SUroot,
LOL, you have really squeezed every available MB from internal storage. :D

I have simply used the Alpharev Sense table with 180MB system, 40MB cache and 218MB data. I also have over 110 apps in the phone in combination with a2sd+ script. Right now, it shows 122MB free internal storage space. Good enough for me (for now...). :)

Actually, you may as well remove the A2SD+ ext. If by chance you run out of space, you can still use the Froyo style App2SD. :)

Redux 1.2 now. I think I found my favorite ROM. Everything almost installed and I still have 137MB internal space free.
