Go Launcher for me. It has more features, and the Go themes make it more fun to use.

Used to use Launcher Pro then discovered the joy that is Go launcher.
Launcher Pro has got the facebook widget that I like but I find Go smoother and less prone to run out of memory.
Also the cube transition is really smooth on Go and I found it jerky on LP.

I can also swipe down anywhere on screen to show the Notification bar.. which is very nice.

Tried most of them and used LP for quite a while, then to Go, ADW, now back to Go. The bugs have been fixed and just seems to work better.

Go Launcher Ex is an amazing launcher and sadly overlooked by many. Launcher Pro and others are good, but Go Launcher really thinks about features + it has some great themes.

LOL. Right now the poll shows 6 for LP vs 6 for GO, but only those that voted for GO left a comment... :D

I tried Go, but soon got bored with he fiddly nature of adding icons to the screens, so I reverted back to ADWex after 15 mins. I also didnt like the sizing of Icons on the screens and didn't spot a resizing menu option, another minus point. Its all personal pref anyhow IMO.

You do realise you can add icons to the homescreens in GO either using the rather nifty technique of drag and drop from the app drawer OR by the traditional click on the homescreen and add application method?

Anyway, I used stock Sense for a while then moved to LP+ which I really liked but recently I discovered GO and I have to say I really am rather fond of it so (for now at least) GO is my preferred launcher. One of the big selling points to me for GO is way you can rearrange the homescreens using drag and drop.

I always wander back to Sense. Love it's look and the HTC widgets available. The exception is that I don't need a dock button to add stuff to the homescreen when I can press menu or long press the homescreen to do it. Would be perfect if it was a user defined shortcut.

I use LPP and love it

I did try Go Launcher EX, but noticed it drained my battery quite quickly, so I uninstalled it and returned to LPP.

LP here but I'm too lazy to try others so I didn't vote.

I was about to make the effort to set up Go Launcher when I saw the app drawer. I'm not swapping my light speed 3D Drawer in LP for that slow coach.

It has improved since i last tried it.

I used to be a HUGE LauncherPro Plus fan boy, as I found Go was very slow.

However......

Since I souped up my Baby with GingerVillan 2.1, and the bugs have been ironed out, Go goes like a rat up a drain pipe now.

So in conclusion, Go for me.....

I had always stuck with sense, until this thread and have now started using launcher pro. However it foes seen to have made battery life much worse. I've left sense with a clear slate. Is there anything else I should do?

Launchers excite me BUT what throws me is that fact of the size on top of the stock Sense for me...1 of the pull backs of the 2.1 update to 2.2 which made it mandatory that you HAVE to use Sense rather than mark Android as the default...tut tut tut !!

when I use go launcher something really annoys me: i use a scrollable twitter widget (plume), and wherever i scroll up & down, the launcher acts as if i scrolled right/left so it doesn't scroll the widget... very annoying

I never knew about that. They should make it vertical by default
why? then people miss the new features. if you dont like it theres an option to go to a classic drawer

I moved to go launcher a few months ago. you can customise the icons the same way as LPP and the other features are free without nag

a bonus is the app draw where you can lock or hide apps with ease, create folders etc

for those that like contacts twitter and facebook widgets use colourize its good but be warned if you enable the widget and choose not to use it it will keep prompting at intervals for login and drain battery until you reboot.

imo its less laggy and more responsive in LP.
I would have bought LPP but because they were so aggressive in giving features then when you press it it nags you to buy i just thought it was a bit below the belt and didnt deserve my cash
