What's your favorite launcher

MiHome launcher is nice and well polished. Been using this one for a while. The included weather widget very close to home...

Xilinhot, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shenzhen....No US only nonsense here...I like that. ;)
 
Nova doesn't show the widget pages unless you have root and ask for it.

Nova and Apex seem more alike than different to me, but on mine, Nova seems to run faster or smoother.

I don't know if that's true or just my opinion but I've felt that way often (I go back and compare from time to time to see what's new).

YMMV :)
 
Know the feeling. I actually find Apex slightly more responsive in dock scrolling, so tend to default to it, but also swap every now and then to check (on Apex today, but spent the last few weeks on Nova). The differences overall are very small.

I'm just in love with it. Too bad Sprint is so bad here, the video is still great even with extreme buffering problems. Maybe I can download it with Tubemate. :)

I just hope there will still be a new M2s floating around for sale in a few months' time. ;) It's cool you like MIUI too. And forget what I said about those square icons, some of those themes are just beautiful. I know some people might put it down for looking a little too iPhone but I've never looked at an iPhone so I really have no other reference point than just loving the aesthetic and customizability, which iPhone definitely doesn't have according to everything I've read.

That phone is just too cool. So there's no ROM for your phone... Yet! Will you possibly change that bleakness at any point? Lol! :D I'm just going to save up some money and buy an M2 as soon as I can. New ones will get more expensive though, the longer I wait.

Wow, really? I like not having to swipe to a particular screen in order to find one of my most commonly used apps. They're right there in front of me no matter what other screen I might be on.
 
Right now I'm using Nova on Toshiko (because it was bundled with the Team Baked Black Bean CM10 ROM), and Go Launcher Ex on Barnabas.
Free versions of both. I can't see paying for a launcher at this time.

i paid for the pro version of apex, not because i really wanted the pro, but because i thought the free app was so spiffy that i wanted to support the developers.

i used to pirate a few apps. i don't do that anymore, as i realize how shortsighted that was. i mean, most apps don't cost much when considering how much i piss away on other nonsense in any given day.
 
^^ nice one man. The more a dev gets payed, the more he can justify his time sat behind a computer when he gets home from work :thumbup::beer::beer:

*hands up* i used to use pirated apps too. I saw it as a "then and us" thing. Now i se it as a WE thing :thumbup:
 
Holo Launcher for me.I love the way I can drag and drop multiple shortcuts on top of each other so I can group/stack my apps.I now have access to all my apps from one single,"Home Page" :)

This is now my minimal Homepage but behind each shortcut there are multiple apps to call on(Not added all of those I use yet),


 
Nova and apex I enjoy being able to have fav apps on dock and just being able to use any zooper Ohhh uccw widgets with a wallpaperand a nice minimalist look.
I don't like for a messy all over the place look on the phone.

Or people are unable to pay? Paid Android apps are only available in certain countries. With Google Play much of the world is free or ad-supported apps only, and Play can be very geo-restricted as well. Sufficed to say it doesn't do much to alleviate the rampant Android app piracy, especially in emerging markets. Some Google services are United States only.

I don't steal apps of course, and a couple of times I've gone out of my way to contact the devs directly see if they can do anything for getting me their paid apps, by paying the devs via Paypal. :)
 
I like Nova Prime...which I use and just found THEMER, by mycolorscreen.

It is in beta right now and I had to wait for the "code" but I love playing around with it.
 
I don't know why but I haven't really liked TouchWiz. I think it's too bright and big and it hurts my eyes. I can probably change the wallpaper but yeah, I'd rather use something else.

I actually have Nova for free. It's fine and I like it small with my Slim Bean rom. :>
 
i used to use holo launcher but it got boring for me so i tried nova prime. i love the ability to change an icon in the drawer and the other customizations of nova.. Holo launcher has less update compared to Nova
 
I've purchased all of the major launchers (except Nova) and I always go back to either Apex or ssLauncher. I bounce back and forth between the two.

For fun I play with and test My Color Screen's Themer app, and once in awhile I fiddle with Aviate.
