what's your favorite sport?

To watch: the NFL
To participate in: skydiving (even though I've only jumped 7 times and probably never will again).

No way! I'm nervous enough INSIDE a plane!

An IT consultant I worked with many years ago was a keen skydiver. On his company tax return, he tried to claim a new parachute as safety equipment .. For some reason, the taxman didn't buy it ..

Baseball, baseball, and more baseball.
I'd rather watch grass grow than watch baseball. At least on TV. Many moons ago I actually went to a Dodgers game and loved it--the whole atmosphere, it was just a great experience. But I find watching baseball on TV way too boring.

As for my favorite sport, basketball (NBA)! I'm a lifelong Lakers fan--so much so that I bleed purple and gold. :D I love basketball because of its [generally] fast pace compared to other sports.

Second would definitely be football (NFL). I used to follow the 49ers religiously, but lost interest in the post-Steve Young/Jerry Rice days.

(I don't like and don't watch college sports.)

Golf...is WORSE than watching grass grow...

Golf...is WORSE than watching grass grow...

There's more action in the growing grass than baseball and golf put together.
Actually, golf is much like skydiving.
One difference though is that in golf you go, "Whack!... Aw, sh!t!"
A skydiver, though, goes, "Aw, sh!t!...
Whack!"

worst olympic sport ever........sorry i mean no offense to those who actually compete in it.....LOL
All I know is I was hooked during the last Winter Olympics. After I understood the rules and how it works, I came to appreciate how challenging and...yes, exciting it really is!

actually i remember that after the last winter olympics as well, my friend went to go visit some friends up in NY and he found some places to go curling at.....LOL....he said it was a blast. they even served drinks at the place where he went. he said beer and curling is a great combo........i'm not sure that i agree, but i guess with enough beer any thing is possible:D

My favorites to watch are:
1)Football (pros, no college)
2)Baseball
3)Hockey
4)Basketball (both pros and college)
5)Tennis
6)Soccer

But my favorite to do myself is bowling. It's kind of my lifetime hobby. :D
