my whatsapp application is giving me trouble.....my net is working fine bt not whatsapp.....the app was working perfectly 2 days b4.....plz give some solution.

Have you tried reinstalling the app yet?

You might also want to perform a hard reboot, by taking out the battery of the device and restarting it.

The delivering depends on the opposite person having service also. You will see two green check marks. The first is that it sent ans the second is that its received.

Check and make sure the receiving party has service. This may be your issue.

Whatsapp usually backs up your your data that you've entered intermittently. I can't promise you won't lose some of your messages though.

Is it not showing either check mark or only one?

Hey don't worry. We are here to help. As of right now do you have service on your phone when you try to send it? It goes strictly through the internet via 3Gg or wifi.

If you do have service then I would just suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your phone. You may lose some data so save whatever you need to your phone.

Have you also tried sending messages through the Default messaging app to see if that works when sending messages?

He's talking about standard texting. Mms and SMS.

The messaging app that came with your device before you installed Whatsapp, you could try sending messages with this to see if the problem is solely within the Whatsapp program or the entire phone.

Okay. Do you have internet service? You never answered that question. If you do and it still won't send then reboot your phone.

Still the same problem then uninstall and reinstall the app. These are my only suggestions left. Let me know how you make out.

ya i have tried tht .....the problem is with the whatsapp itself and not wid the phone.....dude, the browsers r also working fine as i said earlier.....whtsapp is the only problem........plz come up wid some solution asap!!!!

Have you updated it recently?

Just uninstall and reinstall. I think that's all you can do now.

If the apps the problem then uninstall and reinstall it, that is the only solution to your problem.

Your contacts/groups should be saved with your phone number. It will ask if you want to restore previous data when you reinstall the application. This should/will hopefully install your groups andessages back but I can't promise this to be completely accurate.

It might delete your groups, I have no idea. You can try going to settings->Chat Preferences->Chat history backup before uninstalling it, that might save your groups.

My friend was having the same problem. What we did was uninstall whatsapp completely, then reboot and reinstall. This process solved my friends problem, you might want to try it too.
