When buying a new phone [help]

I currently have a activated motion with a Google account. If I buy a metro s3 from ebay does it have to come with the 4G sim card or can I put mines in it in order for it to activate with my account?
 
Umm im not a hundred percent sure on this but the fact that one can have everything working without the 4G cards makes me believe that just because you put your 4G card into another metro 4G phone, that doesnt mean it will be activated. The 4G might be but the voice, and text id imagine you still have to trasfer your account onto the other phone. Anyways im also sure that of you buy a brand new device it should come with its own 4G cards too.

brand new does, often used devices off ebay are missing the uicc card. And no wont be able to just swap the card out n be ready to use. Its for LTE only, and may or may not work at all w/o one. I dont know on the S3 but the LG spirit wont. lol
 
I've read here that IF your phone checks out clean Metro can get you a card for a fee. Also read the authorized dealers are more apt to put the ream job to your wallet for one. Supposed to be around $15 at the Corporate store.

Be damn sure that essn number on a used phone is cleaner than fresh blown snow. ;)

Ok the ESN is clean I just checked it but it comes with no 4g sim card can I still activate it? Can I just transfer the one from my motion to the S3 that im buying and then activate it? Thanks guys!
 
Ive swapped a throttled motion sim with the unlimited sim from my S3 the S3 became throttled and the motion went to full speed I later switched back and both went to the pre-swap speeds. So yeah you cam switch em
