When clearing cache or Task Killer doesn't help?

My Droid Eris still lags very bad even when clearing cache and adding a task killer. Anything else that can be done?

I wouldnt recomend a task killer, if you want somthing similar I would use a task manager. Have you tried Spare Parts? That has improved lag for some. How much of your internal memory is used? If its a large percentage, dooglad could be right ... you may need to delete some apps.

How many apps do you have installed?

Looks like Advanced Task Killer was suspended by Google, and "Apollo Task Killer" is the name change.

Do you have a ton of texts? Or photos? And clean up your apps. if you don't use it at least monthly, just uninstall it. Make sure to reboot every other day or so.

If all else fails, back everything up and do a factory reset and start fresh.

Also... I'm not a very heavy user, but I haven't used a task killer in 3 months and my phone runs like a champ.
