When do Bestbuy and Costco get it?

Most companies print ads weeks in advanced and since the Atrix launch was just moved up a few days ago they may not have had time to prepare.
 
I would like to know this as well. I called my local bestbuy and the chick wouldnt even transfer me to the Mobile departement and said she could answer the question, went to go find out and came back and said they dont even have it in the system. I really doubt that and asked about thunderbolt and said 24th right away. Looked like she overheard someone talking.

Yeah... Thats because that is the date that AT&T said it would be out by at the latest...


If Radio Shack will have it on the 22, then Best Buy will have it then, if not then shortly after

Yea that is the older release date before the pushed the release up. The rumor mill was saying best buy had already stocked them up in their warehouse in February. I am sure their system still reflects the old launch date. I am going to swing by tuesday to my best buy.
 
I called bestbuy in my area yesterday, what a waste of time. He tried to tell me march. I told him he was an idiot and hung up.

Most of these people at bestbuy, I am guessing, are brainless or JDGAF.

Ok , maybe that was a little harsh. Maybe they are just not informed on anything. Still pisses me off though and thats the reason i take my business to compusa.

I just called BB to ask about if data plan won't change if I use them ans was told that they don't even know when the Atrix will be out...wtf
 
it is true half of them are clueless when the phones will be available. They are just there to sign you up and dont really stay up to date with phone release date. If they have never heard of it, it will show on their face. Some however do know their stuff.

Like the other day I went in to ask about thunderbolt, the girl told me there is no such phone by that name. I was like dear Lord.

So true. If its not a Iphone or a Droid, most of them haven't got a clue about the actual phones. You may get lucky and get someone who actually knows something, but most don't.

I went to go get the Inspire on a Saturday, when I heard most Costco's were selling it. I asked the girl about it, and she told me it wasn't due out until the 22nd. I told her, no other Costco's are already selling it. She did some checking and sure enough, they had them but found out they couldn't sell until the next morning. She then admitted she hadn't even heard of the phone until someone asked her about it earlier that day. '
 
I went to three different best buys today and not one person in any mobile section has even heard of the phone and none of them could find it in their system.

This isnt looking good.
 
Whoa guys relax I already told you they don't know, just got a text from my buddy and he. Said that they will have it but not at 150

How are you guys checking at Costco? Are you going to the stores? My local store doesn't list the Wireless kiosk in their phone directory, and I sat on hold for 20 minutes trying to call the number for Wireless from costco.com.

I'd prefer to get my phone at Costco because of their customer service policies there, and because I can get a microSD card there for cheap. :)
 
Stopped by a Best Buy in the DFW area today, before I even finished asking the question he knew which phone I was talking about and said that he was not expecting to have it.

Didn't give an eta either.
 
Well the phone is finally up on the website but only with off-contract pricing and listed as backordered. None of my local stores show any inventory.
 
Conspiracy theory: They will carry it right after the 30 return policy has expired for early Inspire 4G adopters :p
 
Now my local Best Buy is telling me that the Atrix is coming tomorrow not today...seriously now, what is wrong with these people? A strore that is 45 minutes away has a couple in stock though..
 
Only two stores in each district seem to be getting a drop shipment from fedex today. Each store only getting two phones. I just luckily found a store who just got the delivery and got one of the phones. They even price matched to wal-mart @$129.99. But I snuck that in at upgrade price, didn't scroll down to where that was new activation pricing.

what did you show them ? flyer ?
 
If I upgrade my dad's line, would they add data plan automatically and is it easy to remove on OLAM? Would my dad need to get a new sim if they activate the atrix on his number or can I tell them not to and put my sim in the store to activate?
