When do I get the update????

I've decided to wait for the update just to see when they finally get to me (yeah I do find really strange ways to amuse myself.) My husband got his Friday morning. I told him he would get the update before I did (it was a week before he got 2.0.1, btw.) When he asked why I would get it later, I told him that it was because I care about it more than he does.

Fate has the same sick sense of humor that I do.
 
just enjoyed my OTA.. besides Gallery, I don't see anything to scream about. Now when Adobe allows me to start playing Flash games, I'll be screaming "HEAD SHOT!" :D
 
I've heard turning the phone off completely and restarting it helps? Not sure if this is true or not...

For those of you who got 2.1, is live-wallpaper included? Forgive me for the newbie questions, but I just ordered a Droid, and will be here on Tuesday.
 
Live Wallpapers are cool, and definitely a show off to share with potential users. I'm not sure if they will be used much by me, but for now.. WOW.
 
I was a little disappointed thinking there would be a bigger selection. Its better then not have any at all.

Live walls are really cool and something "show off". Not sure how much I am going to be using them though. As I don't think there is really a great selection of them. Perhaps there will be an app made by someone to add more.
 
Happened Saturday midnite into Easter Sunday am. Woke up and there it was on my screen. Played around with it. NO problem issues so far! Kinda weird figuring out where in Gallery pix are and how to share but once done -- imagery is awesome. Google Goggles amazing! Been taking pix of stuff around the house to see if app could analyze and then search. It DID!!

Stay tuned, you will soon be next, I'm sure! :D

Has anyone in the UK received the update. Also wondering if anyone with a hero gas received it and if so has it fixed the blue tooth issues? Thanks in advance. P.s sorry just realised that this is a Motorola topic.
 
Got mine few hours ago and won't update just get the m logo. Now no more update notification. When goto phone info it says no update I have latest version. But its 2.0.1. Going to bitch out verison this afternoon for giving me a faulty phone. I can't even go in to the rocovery mode.
 
My update was waiting for me this morning. It was pretty sluggish until it got its bearings.

I think it's pretty nice so far.

Just turn off your phone. When you restart it will load.
Just got my update this morning. It took a few minutes to reboot (about 5 good minutes).
 
I received my update this morning. I don't see much difference except Launcher 2.1 will no longer run so I am back to 3 home screens.

Nope the phone was runaround. Even Motorola said to have the phone switched out. Even factory reset would lock up on the motor logo. Verizon switched me phones. Got new update installed and worked like a charm. Me. Happy now
 
I haven't received the OTA either. I know I could force it, but I kinda want the OTA experience. However, if I don't get the OTA at least three weeks from now (I know it's a long time, what can I say) then I will force the update.

I have been thinking about rooting and installing a custom ROM, but that is just thoughts.
