...to transfer my itunes library from my PC to my SGSII using USB, I noticed only some of the songs transferred, including two downloaded to my library that very day.
Why didn't all transfer? Did I just run out of space? If so, how can I tell?
..."well, if those other songs transferred, then why didn't all of them?"
then I haven't a clue. Can't really remember how. I was too busy doing it to notice.
I went under File in the iTunes interface, and selected transfer something or other (maybe the library?). Windows Media Player popped up.
It was easy from there, just select the ext. SD card as the device to transfer to, drag and drop to the right of the WMP GUI, then hit the Sync button.
I've never used WMP to sync media but it is my understanding it will only sync formats that it thinks are compatible with the device. If you have and .wma files or DRM protected files, it most likely won't copy them. Find a few of the files you think should have sync'ed and didn't and look at the format.
