when i update to android 4 will it keep my apps?

hi,

when i update to android 4 will it keep my apps?
i am on a branded orange galaxy s2 and just waiting for it to show up in kies. will the update wipe my apps off the phone or will it keep them?

sorry if thats a stupid question.

Its non-wipe so it would not delete your apps. But no guarantee that everything will work perfectly. In fact, the ongoing advice is to do a wipe (factory reset and clear cache) anyway if you have problems with it not running right.

Over Kies (when it comes) your apps will be fine, but I would always do a full wipe first. I've just flashed using Odin, but got everything back via Titanium no problem.

When i did the full wipe and upgraded, just signed into my google account and it started to download most of them again. any that didn't were listed under the my apps section on google play.
