Help When was a message sent?

Hey all,

I have a Samsung S2 on T mobile UK.

What has been bugging me is that when you recieve a sms message, it tells you what time you recieved it in message details but it does not tell you when it was sent to you. I switch my phone off at night and get stuff through when i switch it on.

I use to have it on my old HTC desire.

Anybody know a way around it or am i missing something?

there isnt a way of finding out this, because i do exactly the same at nights. u just have to live with it im afraid.
