When was your Captivate Born?

Born on 06/30/2010.
Purchased on 07/18/2010.
All the usual gps and battery problems.
08/17/2010 will be the return go/no go date for me.
 
My phone is running really good. I am very impressed with this phone! My GPS has so far worked without incident, however, I have not added any "Apps" at all, all the stock apps from the factory. Since it is so new to me and no one I know has one (They are all still with the iPhone4. My phone prior to this one was the iPhone ORIGINAL from 2007. Works great and not a scratch or blemish. Today I cleaned her up and put her back in the box from which she came. She will be a collectors item years from now), I have no reason to question what I am seeing, since it is all totally new to me.

Anyone else want to celebrate their phones BirthDay??

I am so disappointed. I had one born in mid July, but it had battery problems so I returned it tonight for a new one. Turns out my new one was actually born on June 30, 2010. Now I am worried I am going to end up with all of the same problems.

I hope its not the age that matters, but this sucks. I really wanted a newer one.

Update: gps works great out of the box. I am getting outdoor locks in less than 5 seconds. Also i am getting indoor locks consistently, which i had a lot of problems with my first phone. I cant comment on the battery yet, i want to cycle it a few tines first.
 
my phone is an Independence Day baby and I have GPS issues that is very random. Some days it locks on within 30 seconds other days not at all.
 
So anyone else? If your having any issues, please annotate that after your DOB. Right now, there is such a wide spread of DOB's, I don't see a trend with a certain group, but of course it will take a lot more input, so take a minute and let us know...

I returned my first one born 7.22 and the nav never once worked, new one was born 7.8 and nav works perfect.
