@The_Chief named the lighthouse correctly. The Pinot Point Lighthouse is the oldest continuously working Lighthouse on the West Coast and is still using its original Fresnel Lens.

I was in Pacific Grove, CA; the so-called last home town and "Butterfly Town USA".

Today's butterfly spot is just north of the surfer statue and a short walk away from Steamer Alley...
