Help Where are Games stored in Internal Memory?

Kotori-kun

Newbie
Hey guys! I just got my phone not long ago. Can someone please tell me where games from the market are stored in the internal memory?

I read somewhere that it said data/games or something like that, but there is no "games" folder in my phone it seems (I'm using Astro). Can someone please help me?

(Other question not relating to thread) There seems to be some preinstalled Portugese apps on my phone like "Sapo." Is the only way to remove those are by rooting? I tried deleting it using Astro and that didn't work. Thanks!

Root your phone either with z4root or you can download a one-click rooting script. Once you've done that install Titanium Backup from the market. It kicks ass.

I can't tell you what you can and can't delete (I'm still an Android noob), just be careful as there are a couple of posts on here from people who've cause problems by deleting the wrong thing. If you post on here some of the guys will be able to tell you, there's also a few threads in the All Things Root section of this forum that will help you.

The apps you installed are in data/app/ ...

But, if you want to remove an app that's not removable normally, do what CowboyDan pointed to.. There's no way without rooting.. Don't worry, Rooting is not a bad thing.. you just need to know what you are doing... List the apps here or in this thread: http://androidforums.com/optimus-gt540-all-things-root/258351-list-removable-apps-new-post.html you want to remove... Btw, you can remove 'Sapo'...
