Where are my MMS going?

My friend was trying to send me a pic via-MMS to my Hero, but for some reason I would recieve it, then it will 'disappear' and I cant find it anywhere. Im using chompSMS. Any ideas? No ROM, just stock 1.5 Sense.
 
Is the message there minus the picture or entire message gone? Have you checked the stock app, are they gone from there?
 
Check it out, I receive the message like normal, and on the chompSMS screen (and stock msg screen) it shows the "Download" button, I hit that and it starts DLing I guess, but then it just disappears, and doesnt show the msg at all. Cant find it anywhere. Checked SD card and literally everywhere I could think of. But ya it happens in chompSMS, Stock even HandCent. SO I have no clue whats going on.
 
I downloaded that program, it shows me previous ones from the past, but its not showing any recent ones. Does it matter how big of a file was sent to me? if im not mistaken it was around 1MB+
 
This happens to me as well and sometimes the DL is unsuccessful. It's pretty annoying that my "smart" phone can't handle picture mail...
 
check the message threads of other people you've texted. I've had mine end up in another contacts thread, randomly, until they downloaded and I opened them, at which point they went back into the correct thread

They're all different but that is the largest,others are 7kb,12kb and they are from both sprint and verizon.i'll see about the email.
 
I get the same thing when i get an mms i click on download then it does it and then i have a box there with an arrow on it kinda like a play button. i click on it and nothing happens.
