Just to add some caution, I was a big fan of the feather until Monday evening when I dropped my phone as I was getting out of my car. It landed on the top (not the screen, but the top, where the noise cancelling mic is) where there is no protection and shattered the screen. So you understand, I am a short person (5'5") and my car is a lowered is300 so at most the phone dropped 2.5 ft.
The crack rendered my phone unusable... And right now a replacement screen is $150 so I ended up getting an insurance replacement.
I now highly recommend a little more case personally, but its your choice obviously... Just sharing my experience for the benefit of others.
How does anyone think a thin little plastic case will protect anything? Especially if the screen is not covered in some way.
I'm thinking friction tape on the back. This phone is way too slippery.I just wish the back of G2 was not as slippery or we could swap the back covers..

Much better. One strip of friction tape and the phone doesn't feel like a watermelon seed and it still works with my pouch.
Pretty butt ugly but I don't look at the back of my phone. Sure makes it feel more secure. A custom rubberized stick on would probably make money. Something like those stick on bathtub traction things. Hmmm....

KOLIO, that's one way to get a discount (I guess). Put your phone in a case, and tell them you don't really want it? Slick. Also if you can't remove the device, you aren't going to be swapping cases often are you?

I was just looking around, got a couple TPU cases on the way from AMAZON & e-Bay.
Only reason I tried it on it was already an OPEN-BOX item, w/the top cap to the packaging missing. They (BEST BUY) weren't gonna get top-dollar for it anyway.
I've still yet to remove this case. Just gonna leave as-is until the TPU cases arrive. By that time, I'm certain I'll have figured out a way to remove the case w/o causing damage to it or the phone.
More than likely, I'll just leave it alone. This case has a NEXUS 5/7 finish, which shoulda been what was on the G2, instead of the slick fingerprint magnet finish that LG opted for.
I have been using seidio cases for years. They have a really tight fit but will not break when removing. They are pretty hard to come off but they will..
Speaking of seidio cases, does anyone know if the will be making one for the Verizon G2?
I think this one will fit both, as the packaging doesn't distinguish between the two U.S. variations (VZW vs all others) & the cutout is a bit oversized in length & width on my phone.
Assuming all the ports/mics/jack are the same, I'd bet this will fit the VZW variant.
