Where are the pulled apks?

[exzile]

Been searching for awhile and given up to just ask.
ive pulled an apk from my phone to my computer, now the issue is where the hell do i find the apk on my computer. Ive looked in my directories and cant find it. i looked in tools, and platform-tools

how did you save it over to your computer??? what name did you give it?

cant you do a search on that name? *name*.*
for your whole PC. if it is there, it will find it.

i tried searching for it, but stupid vista search sucks. i used my command prompt while hooked up to my phone and pulled the apk. it was a success, i just dont know where it went.

Are you sure you pulled it right? You should cd to your platform-tools folder first and then adb pull to that directory. So like...

cd c:\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools

then...

adb pull /system/app/appname.apk appname.apk

just do a whole PC search for .apk

it will find every .apk file on it.

You might want to try something like AgentRansack to search in Windows. Windows search has a tendency to skip over some useful folders because it thinks they are system folders. I recently found something that I knew was there but Windows refused to find it
