I read that Honeycomb (3.2) supports USB host mode and I should be able to access a USB key/thumbdrive. I have a Motorola Xoom with 3.2 on it.
So I purchased an adapter and plugged in my USB drive. The light on the thumbdrive flashes a bit then stops, as if the system has accessed it, but I cannot find it in the filesystem.
Under the /mnt directory I have 5 subdirectories
sdcard (which is the built in 32GB memory of the Xoom)
external1 (which is the micro-sdcard I plugged into the Xoom)
asec
obb
secure
Should the USB drive appear as something here, like external2 perhaps?
