Help Where can I edit my contacts in Gmail?

I was told by a Sprint employee that once I logged into my Gmail acct via my Samsung Epic, that both my Gmail acct (on the web) and my phone will show both, and that I could edit my contacts in Gmail? Right now I only see my contacts (sucked from my Instinct) on my Epic, and my Gmail web acct shows nothing.

Oh sorry, I've checked Contacts before my post, and that's the problem, my Contact list is empty on my Gmail acct, online.

Thatz strange... I'm not an arse, but hav to ask do u hav more than 1 gmail acct?

I called Sprint technical support. They wanted me to delete that account and re-add it. However with the Epic, it's tied into your system, so you need to reset to factory defaults. I would then need to bring my Instinct back into a service store to migrate my contacts (again!) back to my Epic.

The bigger pain is that I added my apps and widgets last night and I'll have to redo everything. Gag.

If U hadn't already done it, get MyBackUp Pro & if ur using Launcher Pro U can back up the home screens...

That app worked perfectly. I saved my apps and contacts on my SD card, then reset the Epic, entered my Gmail info in again, then used myBackup to reinstall contacts. I checked my Gmail acct online, and everything was sync'd as it should. You saved me a trip to Sprint, and that is big!
