where can i find the htc sense keyboard?

No problem.

I prefer to put the apk's on my SD card and install them using a file manager so they are in data/app, this way when you flash a new rom, you dont need to add, push etc as its in data/

If you wipe, titanium backs up too so it can be restored that way

Along the same kinda theme, do you happen to have the Sense Dialer?? The dialer is the one thing I love about sense, and its holding me back from going Vanilla Gingerbread (tried it then reverted back as I couldn't find a dialer I liked).

I installed the keyboard and selected it from the settings but I still have the standard keyboard. Do I need to be rooted to use it

You select it in settings but then on a text field (Any text field, sms, email etc) , you need to long press and select "Input method"

You cant use sense apps on non-sense roms. Only the keyboard.

Kibbster has mentioned that Go Contacts is sorta like the Sense Dialer. I used to use Dialer One but apparently there's some weird permission the dev set for it (geo-location).

Does anyone have a keyboard where the £ sign is in a sensible place.

Yeah after a bit more research, it seems to be the case. I love Sense dialer, and have tried the others in the past but they dont match up IMO. I'll just wait for gingerbread sense...

Go contacts is the closest I have found.
Get some strangeness with contacts pics not always showing up in call history but other than that I like it and it's very much like the sense dialler.
I'm still surprised that the stock android dialler is missing smart functions.

The contacts section is very much like the Sense one but just without the Facebook status updates (not that I ever found that worked all that well on Sense either.)
One you go into the contact then you are in Android stock, which I find ok as I think the stock android layout fine.

If you select the darker theme for go it even matches up pretty well with the gingerbread theme so results all round :)

For keyboard I have switched to Swype which I love and hate in nearly equal measures but that's because I'm not used to it yet.
