where can i get flash player for android 4.1

I don't know...but it may help to know that.....puffin browser allows you to play flash games without installing flash.

Flash is a security nightmare. It's better to install a browser that will allow you to view Flash content, and then only use that browser when you purposefully want to view Flash content on a website.

Puffin Free is the free version of Puffin family, and comes with two weeks Adobe Flash support. Only two weeks. No use so.
I want to use it to listen to streams and to watch youtube.
What is the best browser for that?

Can't you use the Youtube app to watch Youtube videos?

(Sorry I don't know the answer to that--I don't spend much time on Youtube, and what little time I do spend is on my desktop.)

A lot of youtube content won't play on the app but will on a compatible browser with the UA string set to desktop.

Getting Flash is fairly simple - get the apk, sideload it, use a compatible browser.

Since that post, other browsers have proven compatible, so try your favorites if you don't like Boat.

Google Chrome isn't compatible, probably never will be.

Hope this helps! :)

Why not just buy the Puffin (full service) Brower for $2.99?

If you're referring to that, I thanked your post because that's a viable choice as well, obviously.

The alternative doesn't limit you to just one browser and I prefer to suggest choices because I believe that Android is all about choice. :)

If you're referring to the download, my pleasure. :)

I've found that Youtbe, at least in Chrome, plays without flash. Just make sure you're using an HTML5 browser and have Youtube set to HTML5

I think the question about buying the app was to Flash Gordons, not you.

And yes, Android is about choice, but some of us prefer the choice which is more secure, and that involves not having Flash installed on your phone. Google and Apple don't agree on much, so when they do agree it probably doesn't make a lot of sense to ignore that.

Adobe decided to pull Flash support for Android.

http://blogs.adobe.com/flashplayer/2012/06/flash-player-and-android-update.html

Google didn't remove it for security reasons.

Adobe was pushing AIR.

Apple refused to support it on economic grounds.

http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2008/11/adobe-flash-on/

Steve Jobs addressed only the Macs when he cited security - everything else revolved around performance when it came to mobile devices -

http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/

Why? Because until recently, iPhone processors ran slower than corresponding Android models and relied on limiting software and screen resolution to obtain the user results that they did. The iPhone 4 was clocked at a mere 800 MHz - and mobile Flash has always been processor intensive.

Therefore, because neither Google nor Apple ditched Flash for security reasons, and because I've used it heavily on Android since the second phone to ever get Froyo and support it, I don't see the need to withhold the information on security grounds.

Many were able to transition to Android from the iPhone without work-related apps, such as airline personnel checking their duty schedules on the web, thanks to Flash support.

That said - browse responsibly, know your risks, and like all things mobile, proceed with caution.

I was able to install Flashplayer 11.1 for Android 4...on my Samsung Tab2 10.1 P5113 which recently experienced an auto update of Android 4 opreating system, and now Flashplayer doesn't work, and all videos are given mobile phone preferences. Is there a way to re-enable laptop like preferences? I am using Dolphin browser which works great...

The link for Flash in the article you posted is dead.

Proper instructions and a working Flash download link from Adobe were provided earlier in this thread.

Thanks though, the pictures may help someone, you never know.
