Help Where did my google search go?

I have been following this forum and have made numerous changes to my phone. I have launchpro cpuset, titanium backup, and other recommendations.

Google search with voice used to be on one of my screens. Now it is gone. How do I get it back?

Try this:Long press on any screen,select shortcut,applications.You should now be in your app drawer.Scroll,down until you find 'voice search',short press, & that should take you back to your home screen,& install.Keep us updated w/ your progress/results.
 
I came across this answer when searching for this problem myself. I tried the shortcut screen however "voice search' is not one of my choices. Any other ideas on how to get it back?

Long press on screen-select widgets-search. It has the voice thing on the search bar if you press the microphone icon.
 
Is the app that you want to place on your homescreen(desktop)showing up in your app drawer?
