Root where did my storage go

ok today i had to flash back to stock kit kai 4.4.2 wifi gen 1 ,when i go to storage it shows total 6.02gb,how and where did it go? :mad:


P.S.=You guys might of or never will run into this but,i just found a link on it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2184486 THANK YOU X.D.A!!!! by the way the steps in the thread looks in my eyes like it might be a job,but then again if youkno what your doing,should be fine,but in my eyes,until i read over a few times,it might sink in and not be so bad,but if anyone fines a alternate besides xdas,please feel free to share. thank you all
 
If I recall the last time someone had an issue with reported memory sizes on a nexus device the solution was to simply lock and then unlock the device again.

You can use Wugs lock/unlock button or ADB commands

fastboot oem lock
fastboot oem unlock

It would appear the devices have a very robust system wipe when you unlock the device, it will completely wipe the device including all user areas and should set the device memory back to normal once complete.
 
woohooguy,it worked but i didnt have to lock it,i just rooted then unrooted and my storage at 27.58,but had trouble with the rooting{comp didnt want to play well } so lastnight i didnt get to reroot to see if i lose any storage,will give it a shot today.ty woohooguy
