ROMs Where is my boot.img

Maybe you're right after all that the uboot.img would need modified. I certainly wouldnt go that far if true. But at the same time, you'd think that logo bitmap would act as a reference file for the splash screen content. Seems like it should work to edit it to a blank canvas but I see that has not worked for you. You left the filename the same in addition to the size/format you already mentioned?
