Help Where is personalisation data held?

I have a wallpaper on my desire, originally its a picture I took with the phone. Since taking it I've removed everything from the sd card, but the image still displays as a wallpaper. I want to get the image off of the phone.
I presume that when you pick a backdrop it stores it locally on the phone for quick access.
Where will I find the file and which file manager app will let me get it ?

Not sure if this is possible as its not rooted.

Thanks!!

Its not possible when not rooted.

I have looked a lot for this. I have found everything else on the phone except the image in an actual image format.

Once you change the wallpaper, any reference to that image should be gone however.

Thanks, they must re-encode it somewhere then. No big deal I think I have it on a backup somewhere :)

everything is in /data/data but i don't think you can get there without root. I cant remember if it was a Hex reference or just numeric string or something. Once your wallpaper is changed, theres nothing anyone can do to recover that, if thats your concern
