There are two files in the /system/media folder, the first is the Samsung Galaxy SII logo called bootsamsung.qmg the second is the sprint 4g animation bootsamsungloop.qmg. If you want to be rid of the sprint animation just rename the file extension something like .old and next time you boot the animation will not show up. the same applies for the Galaxy SII logo.

Here are a couple of links on the qmg files for samsung

so to change animation just remove the sprint one, rename the zip I wanna use and put it there.?

If your referring to how CM10 does it, then no.
Samsung is different as it uses those qmg files. To date I have not found anyone to be able to make a boot image for Samsung phones simply because the source or coding program isn't out, Samsung has it tied down me thinks.
With cm10 they re-modified things where you can easily change the boot animation, with Samsung the best you can hope for is to rip the boot image files from another rom of Samsung and use it, sadly :(.

No, you need to use a developer tool to make the file on a stock ROM. Custom ROM's have usually been modded to allow for the animation zip file. If the intent is on just getting rid of the animation then just rename it.

Being that the qmg is a proprietary type thing Samsung uses, it would most likely be easier to drop in a kernel that supports the bootanimation.zip file.
