Well the GNex came 8 and 16, with the Verizon variant 32.
Google owns Motorola. I don't think we'll ever see a Motorola nexus because then they'd be exclusive. They want the android system to be open to all, and the nexus device is supposed to be the building block that everyone builds off of.
The nexus device will never be high end because android is built for low end and high end devices. It'll always be a mid grade device.
The reason I'll still buy a nexus phone is because it'll get great developer support, and it'll get updated from Google first.
I'm drunk, and thank God for auto correct
From what I've seen the Nexus handsets are not usually over-styled and are usually pretty bold and clean. The hardware is usually pretty high-end inside tho. Aside from the sparkly back; the LG look like a black slab...which I love! I think if Motorola did a Razr Nexus they would need to style it down somewhat. Plus I think Nexus devices are all about vanilla android software and very much about development support.

What exactly is 'mid grade' about the Nexus 4, though? High end, top of the line specs, nice camera (allegedly), high end screen, wireless charging. all of these are top of the range specs on top of top of the line software. I fail to see how any of this makes this a 'mid grade' device. And that goes for the Galaxy Nexus too.Google owns Motorola. Well the hardware is up there, but it's not released top of the line. Like it won't be the best phone on the market on release day. That's what I meant.
