several weeks both the Galaxy Nexus (open) and the Galaxy Note (open as well but the Rogers boot screen and some apps) in the family, this as a short story. My son got the idea he doesn't like the Note anymore, so I sad give it to me, and we swap the units with my younger son (this when two boys grow up !!!!
). Here comes my question, I could not figure this out:
- on Nexus, I can restrict the data usage (upload/download) only through WiFi, so I can save from my bills if using the phone only.
- since I've got now the Note, Im not sure where is that thingy "do not touch data if no WiFi is present" ?
- I know for apps counting more less accurate the data usage, but I want to make it auto so no thinking about it, no data no GPS, no youtube consumption...
