where is the trash?

I am using JB and I want to get rid of some shortcuts. On my android phone I simply drag it to the bottom of the screen to a trash can. How do I do the with the tablet?

Long press. Drag to the "Remove" at top of screen.

So simple! Thanks! I could hardly see the "remove" thingy on the top, it almost totally merged with the background.
