That growth rate is unbelievable... I've always been really intrigued by population growth and its affect on the planet. I think that problems associated with overpopulation are going to become very prominent over the next century with the developing world consuming increasing amounts of energy, food, water, etc.

And I'm the 77,915,100,591st person to have lived (an here I call BS as well, b/c they most definitely are not counting my neanderthal cousin....)
 
This reminds me of a question posed in the New Scientist, "When will the Living outnumber the Dead?" based on the lyrics of some famous song.

I can't remember what the answer was but I can dig it up if anyone's interested.
