Where O Where is Google Earth?

Why does Google Earth App not show up on the Market for my Fascinate? Just not there. Tried to load with Appbrain, no luck. Tried to load from bumping with a friends incredible also on Verizon, no luck.

Are they hiding from us or am I missing something?

Hmmmm....
I have been unable to get it until now. You guys have magic powers, I am convinced of it. Still does not show up when I searched. Wouldn't load from Bump or Appbrain. One post here and now it does.

Yes indeed, my apologies. I sure would not wanna tick them off and be attacked again. Im running to low on gingerbread too. Might have to go to the store, hmmm, maybe I'll get a certain breakfast cereal to combat future flying unicorn attacks and maybe even some Ben & Jerry's.

its too late...they ve been offended and are planning the attack as we speak :eek::eek::eek:
 
As of 1/1/2011 Google Earth is not visible in market for Samsung Fascinate on Verizon.

One more reason why I hate this phone. That's 3 apps I used regularly I can not use anymore.
 
Really, because it's visible with virtually every other phone, especially considering how "new" this one is. I don't blame the new market at all. There's a bunch of apps I can't view at all.
 
Im surprised there is no parallel site that users can simply download free apk files from directly from the official market. I'm not referring to these other sites that just link to market pages. I had to hunt for google earth snd extract apk files from my droid 2.
 
I can see it in Appbrain, but I don't understand how that helps any. How can you install or update it from Appbrain without going through the market? Appbrain shows me it is installed but needs to be updated, but to update I have to click the Market button in Appbrain, at which point I get "requested item could not be found".

I tested before I posted that took me straight to it. But now when going through appbrain I'm getting same response as you posted. So now I'm lost also..:(
 
Google Earth wouldn't show up for me on my Fascinate in the "new market". I read from forums on Android Central that if you go into settings>applications>market and "uninstall update", it will bring up the old market and you can search for Google Earth and it should show, it did for me. I installed Google Earth, exited out of market and after I went back in, the new market is back. Give it a try.
 
SBacklin--your solution does seem to show more market content. I was able to find my can knockdown as well as Google earth.

Thank you, first person to actually post something accurate on here in a while.

I refuse to argue about it. But I will just say that there are plenty of people that spend countless hours on here answering ?s for nothing in return but a thank you and self satisfaction of knowing they could help. And comments like you made are just uncalled for.
