Where, oh where can I find an EVO?

Has anyone had luck finding an EVO in stock this week?

I guess I made a mistake waiting to see the iPhone 4 before buying... The waiting lists have ballooned at the Sprint stores since its release.
 
Everyone is sold out around here. Last weekend there were a few stores here with some stock, but they are sold out now.

I'm just waiting for Sprint.com to get more in and then i'll order.
 
I ordered mine on bestbuy.com on Thursday June 24th. It should arrive Tuesday.

They are currently out of stock, but at the time they were the only store (online or off) that had any. I would suggest checking back over the next couple of days.
 
Apparently right around July 3-5, there should be ample supply with all the people threatening return within 30 days.
 
i called sams club, walmart, radio shack & best buy every day....2xs a day to find an EVO.

it took me a week of 12pm calls & 4pm calls to numerious locations of each store.....but eventually i found my EVO last tuesday (6/22) @ best buy and walked out after 30 minutes of activating my evo & sprint service. :D

persistence = the key.

on friday 6/25 sams club called me back to get the phone but i had bought it already.

just keep calling & find out the ship times. who cares if the people know your voice. to the person who tries comes the winnings ;)

Yay! I called a local Sprint Store yesterday and they put me on the list, and somehow I got a call this afternoon to come pick it up! Hooray! They said they were giving priority to new customers, which was really nice.

Goodbye 3GS... Goodbye...
 
Bump. Sprint store has been unavailable for a few days (since I started checking). How long does it usually take to get this thing in stock online?
 
Little secret, call the sprint store in the morning around 10am central time. Thats normally when my sprint store gets them in. they will hold them until 11am for the people on the waiting list. if they are not there by 11am, they will sell them to whoever. I did this, and my buddy did this 2 days ago.

yep, good stores in busy malls get them early in the day once or twice a week. got mine the same way. said he'd hold it an hour, i live 40 minutes away, i got there in 25... hehe, got 2. that was 2 weeks after launch though.
 
I had my name on a list at 2 places and was told I had to wait 3-4 weeks. I took a chance and called another sprint store and they said they could get me one around lunch time last friday. Sadly work got in the way and I couldn't pick it up until saturday morning. I called and told them I couldn't get it until saturday. They said no problem and saved it for me. I'm a new Sprint customer so that might have had something to do with it but I thought the customer service I got was great. They even managed to save me $25 off my monthly bill. I can't complain about that.

But what you said doesn't sit right with me.
That's complete Bull S***.
They should reward people who have been with them for years on end with priority of the new phone, not people just switching from other carriers.
I'm going to be calling them up tomorrow to grill them about this practice.
 
I've been calling all the Shack stores in my area, and some said they'll have some today. I'll try it, and if I'm not lucky, hopefully that one Sprint store I called still has some left. I think they had 6 left when I went there earlier today.
