Where to buy S3 or S4?

I just saw your offer of your CDMA version S3. If I understand correctly, this is the old technology that will be phased out within the next year or two, right? I'm just trying to wrap my arms around it all, as I'm not that technical. Thanks
If you have a current CDMA promo plan that you would rather keep and you want a upgraded phone the cdma s3 is a good choice.

I currently have a cdma promo that gives me unlimited web at 4G and its $40

I got this when the esteem was first out, LTE was brand new to metro, they were still trying to sell 4G phones.
Now if I want to get a byod phone and jump on the GSM wagon I would have to pay $60 per month for what I get now. So for me a cdma s3 is just fine.

When they want me off cdma they will likely offer me some incentive.

Perhaps your incentive will be that you'll actually need a Phone instead of a paperweight once they flip the Go Away switch... ;)

(I wouldn't bet any large sum on a CDMA phone doing squat on Metro once they flip the switch.)

You may be right, they wont care to bring people like me over to GSM and continue to use metro service, if that happens I have a straight talk sim I will just put in and have all the same features I currently have just pay $5 more a month.:p

you cant use the s3 like that, you could use it on places like page plus etc, but it would be purely 3g only.

I did not mean use this CDMA S3. I have a nexus 4 right now on Straight talk, my phone, and the S3 on metro, my wife's. I had a T-Mobile S3 for the metro GSM byod that I was going to put on for my wife until I found out that the plan would not transfer.
I sold that and bought the CDMA S3, when the time comes I will get another GSM phone, nexus 5 or S4 for my wife.
