Where to Buy?

I have gone to 4 or 5 different local AT&T Wireless (Corporate AND authorized dealer) stores and nobody has the Samsung Galaxy SII in stock... nor do they have a demo for you to play with. If you count Best Buy and Radio Shack in there, then that's about 10 I've been to.

None of them have it. Finally, a Best Buy mobile guy showed me the Sprint version and it looks pretty damn amazing especially the screen. I compared it side by side with my Infuse 4G and blew my phone away.

So I just wanted to ask the community.

Where did you guys purchase your Galaxy S2's?

Online? Amazon? Costco? Best Buy? Radio Shack? Authorized dealer?

Anyone recommend me a place to buy? (I am looking for a place that is hassle-free obviously so if you had some issues with a seller, I'd like to know)

THANKS in advance! :D

In my state, none of the at&t corporate stores had any when I bought mine. I was told to go to a 3rd party store or buy it online.

I bought mine at Best Buy. Go to their website to check their inventory beforehand before you go. Out of the ten stores within 10 miles, only 3 stores had any in stock. While I was at the store, another customer had arrived to trade in his phone for a galaxy S2. He had apparently called earlier and it took him a while to drive down. The sad thing is that the girl forgot about his call. I hope she still had one left for him.

I also heard that in places where corporate stores have them in stock, their batch is bad. Apparently the screens aren't accurate and appear yellowish, whereas third party stores have perfectly fine batches.

Here in Las Vegas my Wife and I got both of our G S2 (AT&T) at Target. They only get about a handful in at a time but they do go fast.

Walmart has them, and their price is one of the better ones, $148.88 in store to upgrade, (higher on their web site though). I live in a small town in north georgia, and my local walmart has them in stock, as well as a display model.

I just ended up getting at Best Buy since they JUST got them in and it will count towards my rewards zone.

I don't know what happened but...

(Note: I am from Southern California)

1. AT&T Corporate stores do not carry them. I don't understand this but ok...

2. It seems like places like Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc. are the ones carrying this phone.

3. My local authorized AT&T dealer did not have them either.

I don't really understand what's going on with this phone. lol.

Theres a picture of a g2 price in walmart in these forums somewhere. I downloaded it and printed it out and showed it to bestbuy mobile and they price matched my g2 from 148.88 to 129.99! and best buy has the best customer service...well in my area i believe so!

also they didn't believe the walmart price was 148.88 because the online said 199.99, let them know its an in store special only.

Ignore...sorry, wrong post :(

I ordered mine from Amazon on launch day after finding no local stores with the phone in stock. Paid $149.99, free 2 day delivery, had it on the morning of the 2nd day. It's really a super phone, and a bargain for the price.

Was in an AT&T corporate store today (MA) and they had them in stock (lots according to the rep). They also said that they would price match.
