Root Where to find a working thread/site to root?

Can someone post a link to a thread or a site that has the instructions and also "working" links/files so you actually root the Fascinate, everything seems to be broken. I mean there are still plenty of these devices out there and still selling well on eBay.

No one, really? I would really like to root this device and I can not find somewhat up to date instructions with working links.
 
Well maybe it was a dumb question, IDK, but I did finally find a thread on XDA with a guide with what appears working links that offers up just about anything anyone would want to do to their Fascinate.
