Help Where to Find ICS for S2

Hi

I have the S2 GT -I9100, I downloaded the ICS about a month before it arrived onto this phone (below are the the details).

I've never had soo much bugs on the phone like I have at the moment, swipe isn't that responsive, everything I click always has a lag on it, sometimes the phone turns off and I don't realise.

Is there an official T-Mobile release of the ICS or can I get the downgrade version to this that I can download and restart my phone.

I am seriously close to smashing up and hating Android altogether because of this as I can't use my phone as a phone! :(

This is the ICS I downloaded prior to the official release.

Model Number: GT - I9100
Baseband Version: I9100XXLPH
Kernal Version: 3.0.15 I9100XXLPH-CL118559 SE.INFRA@SEI-45 #3
Build Number: IML74K.XXLPH

Also is the GT-I9100 the same as the Galaxy S2 SGH-T989 (I keep finding this one as well) and finding the Darkside Evolution ICS ROM.

Thanks

Well here are the answers.

1. Question one - The way you obtain ICS with Samsung phones is by connecting your phone to KIES and updating your phone. This is only if you have stock firmware from Samsung. If you are rooted and have a custom rom on your phone what you need to do is install stock again. Go Samsung Galaxy S2 (International) - Android Forums and look for the stock firmware. After you do that use odin to install it and than connect to KIES and update.

2. The correct forum for you is Samsung Galaxy S2 (International) - Android Forums because you do not have the T-Mobile branded version of the phone but the international one. This answers you second post - the two phones are not the same. Even though you are using T-Mobile on your phone it allows any GSM carrier in the world Or it is an international phone. As far as I read the latest version for the international gs2 is 4.0.4 or the unofficial through roms is 4.1 jellybean. I suggest looking at those forums as they more directly apply to you.

3. T989 is the Hercules or the T-Mobile branded Galaxy S2 and in my opinion is a lot worse than the international version since we actually have to wait for T-Mobile to update our phones. Next the phone even looks differently on the outside sooo - the short answer No it is not the same phone.

Hopefully I helped a little!!!!

Thats for that - I didn't know my phone was an International one, I thought it was just a T-Mobile version GT version. I'll check it out now and get it sorted before its too late and I have no phone lol :D
