Currently I bought a second hand HTC Legend. The guy said he bought it from Virgin Mobile (and I trust him because he even left in the Virgin Mobile SIM card that came with it). ATM, I am using a Rogers SIM card, and it appears to work fine. I don't have a data plan though, but it's fine since there is free wifi everywhere. Btw, I live in Canada.
The thing is, when my phone checks for updates, which company is it checking from? Virgin? Rogers? HTC? Which should I be worried about. I really want the 2.2 update, so I want to know which company I should be aware of when it is released.
Also, on a side note, when the phantom black HTC Legend comes out, do you think it will be pre-installed with Android 2.2, and would the OTA 2.2 update be released the same day?
