Root where's my email icon?

i installed 2.1 rom adamz's smoked glass v6.0.1 and now my email icon is gone? i need that because that's how i get notifications for my college email. can anyone help me get it back? thanks.
 
I am not familiar with Adam's ROM but when you installed was there menus with choices of programs you want installed (in previous ROMS I missed a few needed programs by not paying close attention during my install) ? You might want to reflash and if there are choices make sure you have mail checked off. A good 3rd party mail program is K9 that should handle your email needs.
 
thanks for the reply. i just figured it out. i went on my webmail account for my college and enabled mail forwarding, so all my messages go to my gmail account. then i went into gmail and went to settings and changed the "reply to" email address to my college one. that way, when someone replies back to me, it will say my college email address so they know it's me. so i got it all figured out.
