Where's /system/build.prop in Astro?

I just found it two days ago... now I'm re-tracing my footsteps and going around in circles looking for it again, wondering how I got there. Any help, please?

I am able to see that file in root explorer but not astro. I assume you are rooted?

I can see /system/build.prop in ASTRO. But I defer to Root Explorer when doing anything in the /system partition. For one thing, ASTRO can't change permissions.

Yes, I was checking to see if the newest Sholes update changed anything in the camera recorder settings. I plucked around on Astro a few days ago and found it, but now I don't know how I did it...

I just realized I can see build.prop in astro but astro just shows it as "build" and hides the extension ( found it using long press - file options - details).

Go into preferences, you can turn on file extensions and icons, and all kinds of cool stuff.

Yeah... couldn't find /system. Trick is to go to the Astro page, then hit the "up" tab. That's when the angels sing.
