I know this is a little gimmiky but still.......

Do you recall the Android Dog statue that was in mountain View , Well where has it gone??

I see pictures on Google with it clearly standing infront of the Android but it's not their now? Have a look at this article:

I think it's been Kidnapped lool , and we still don't know its proper name :D

He probably dove head first into the cupcake looking for a bone! You know how dogs like to dig... probably trying to dig his way out to find the donut as we speak!
 
Great question...and here's another one...if the Android Robot (unnamed) went looking for his dog what he call it? I think both are unnamed.

Any ideas?
 
hahaha I just had an Image of the Android Statue walking around looking for its Dog , a bit like that Marshmellow man from Ghost busters :D

Thats an Interesting point though , maybe Phandroid should raise a campaign to:

1) Look for the Missing Pooch ! I'm sure it's Android owner wants it back! :p

2) Let the Android community vote on what we should call the Big green Android and it's dog

And once again if I just read first, I would have seen the linked article has the name of both the dog and robot.

Reading...it's so yesterday.
 
Bot - Oscar (looks like a tin can and is green)
Dob - Andy (as in And-droid)

I dont know if anyone cares anymore but I spotted him.

He was being held up in a crowed at the end of an Australian morning show (Sunrise on channel 7). If it wasn't him, then it was a perfect replica.

I dont have any evidence though :(
 
Looks like someone has painted him white and put him in front of a NYC restaurant. I think he was pleading for help (they've put a jeweled collar on him :mad:). Here's a picture I took a few hours ago:

Don't know if I missed something but the article says that the dog is called "Alex" and Mr. Droid is named "Mike"

Oh the shame! Alex is white *cries*. The size and shape seems to match with Alex.
