Which Android Sprint phone has best battery?

Hi, I need to purchase a new sprint Phone, and need to buy an Android. I want one with a good battery. I'm using an EVO currently and am not happy with the battery, though the phone is great.

I prefer a high end phone, but my usage is limited to using a few apps and Google maps and such, so I don't really need a high end one. The battery life is the most important thing.

Thanks, after reading a bit about the two, I am leaning towards the Photon. I have a question though, does the GSM support mean I can just insert a GSM chip and use it as any GSM handset I wanted. (say with T-mobile or with any provider while I'm overseas). Any unlocking that needs to be done?

Again, don't assume that just selecting the "right" device will address all your battery life concerns. Your particular usage has a major impact on battery life. No matter which device you choose you really need to analyze your usage and adjust. GPS, for example, will chew through any device's battery.

GSM is GSM. In short, yes. Subsidy locks can apply if it's GSM. Keep in mind that the device needs to support the bands required by the carrier (again, as with any GSM device).

You can use any GSM provider over-seas, whereever Sprint does not have roaming agreements with local CDMA providers. You cannot use the Photon with GSM providers in the United States.

Thank you for your inputs. I am well aware that usage greatly impacts battery life. I've done everything to improve it in that respect, on my EVO (rooting to remove all unnecessary apps, decreasing sync frequency, setting low brightness, turning off "always on mobile data"). I don't even have Facebook or other such apps on my phone anymore for the matter. But the fact remains that HTC EVO has a crappy battery life, and nothing I do do improve it will change it. Whenever I do need to use the phone genuinely for something (say, navigating when i really need it), the battery dies. What good is the phone with all the features if you cannot use any at all.
