Hello,
I have had my Captivate for a couple of days now, and today it happened that I was chatting over Google Talk on my desktop PC with my Captivate nearby.
To my great surprise, the messages send my the other party were received not only by my desktop app, but also by my phone which dutifully played a notification for every single message.
As stupid as it may sound, I was also not able to find out which application was handling my Google Talk account. Whenever I received a message, I ended up in a chat window. However, pressing Menu did not give me any clue which application this window belonged to nor did it offer any options to deactivate the Google Talk functionality.
Can someone help me out? Which application takes care of chatting with GTalk, and how do I disable it?
Thanks!
