Erm, stock android and stock htc browsers are different browsers.

Stock HTC browser only appears on HTC sense roms. Stock android (as far as the desire is concerned) is on AOSP roms.

I think this might need distinguishing between.

I guess I meant the stock HTC browser then.

Opera mini. Data is expensive where i live. Its the only browser the compresses the web pages on its own servers, before sending down to the device.
This makes it fast and light on data usage.

I also have Firefox 4 and Dolphin installed - just to play around when on wifi - otherwise i always use Opera Mini.

Opera mobile for the best browsing experience. Eliminates the need for "mini" browsers by offering to disable Flash and enable Turbo. The only drawback for is its large size.

Miren is the second for me for its light-foot browsing and clean UI.

I use opera mini if I'm in a poor 3g signal area, but for 90% of my browsing I use Miren. It's faster than dolphin hd but is a fraction of the size of firefox or opera mobile, great ui and tab operation. And importantly to me I could import and organise bookmarks easily.

I use Mirren browser. It's the fastest browser i've found, it doesn't do wierd things and mess up sites like opera, and has an exit button and can delete download history unlike the stock browser. Dolphin is to slow and all the other browsers I tried didn't gel.

If I use a sense rom I use the stock sense browser.

If I'm using anything else like gingervillain or miui, I use dolphin mini.

And, I keep opera mini (or mobile, whichever was out first I can't remember) just in case I need to use the internet and only have G signal.

I downloaded Dolphin HD, Skyfire and Opera Mini earlier this week to see which one suits me but I keep going back to stock Android.

I use stock android browser on MIUI. Does the job for me. BUt if the speed connection is slow Opera mini works very well.

No idea if it's the stock HTC or stock Android browser, but I use the stock browser that came with my Desire - Firefox takes too long to start up and doesnt reflow text properly.
