Root which cwm is compatible with coolpad?

I know we need to use 5.0.....but does anyone know which exact version we need to flash i ws thinking maybe 5.0.2.6 or 7?
 
what are you talking about? each cwm needs to be crafted for each device otherwise bricks can happen. what devices cwm were you going to flash???
 
killah's cwm doesnt boot and even then he is using teh website rather than building from source so its going to be teh latest version which is 6.0.2.9. since he is mentioning 5.0.2.7 it makes me think he is going to flash the admire's cwm which would be a piss poor idea :/

Your right.... CWM cooker is mostly worthless for making CWMs.... :P just gives some useful stubs...
 
So you can't just use a recovery flaher app i gues ?! I saw tat kilcmd said we could only use 5.0...something and no i wasn't going to install killahs cwm because people began to chime in and alk about soft bricks?!
If someone helps me i wil attempt to make one but have no ie what to do without helo?!
 
why can you only use 5.0?

the builder would have been great 2 years ago, but it came out too late for it to be truly useful as most of the cwm's i've seen people make with it never work fully or at all...
 
cool remove that file and tehn flash recovery :)

if cwm boots at all ill be surprised. but wanted to at least attempt. please try to get adb shell to see how well it is booting.

what do you mean my intentions were? i told androidamirer that i would help when people realized that the cwm builder site is useless on these kind of crappy devices. since then he has been spamming me (almost to the point i considered setting him to ignore). but since nothing else is going on for you guys i figured id finally step in.
 
trying to upload the file and using manage attachments and it is saying invaild file type...how can I do this...sorry Kind of new to the forums
