Help Which do you prefer?

LOL, gotta be the guy that points-out that Google has purchased Waze...;) :p :D [I'm betting that's not news for most folks, though]

(I know what you mean, though--been forever since I've used Waze, so I've got to vote for Google Maps :))

I'm betting that whatever cool features Waze has Google will sometime adopt in Maps...
 
I prefer Waze but have Android Auto in my truck so I usually use Google Maps. Google said back in May that Waze would be coming to Android Auto this year but it's starting to look unlikely as there's been no word on an ETA for it.
 
Waze all the way! I used to use Google Maps, but once it stopped recognizing my GPS after an update, (Which it updated only hours after arriving in Hawaii, which is terrifying not having a gps in a foreign area) I searched for alternatives, and Waze seemed to be the best. Months later, I still use waze, even though Google ended up fixing the "No GPS signal" bug, Waze has reporting tools and reports which are extremely useful on busy highways. In Honolulu certain times of the day the shoulder lanes open up for traffic, and getting a notification a half mile ahead of a stopped vehicle in a traffic lane is very useful!
