Which ICS ROMs are getting your juices flowing?

Just idle curiosity really. I think most of use here use CheckROM because it's so damn good, but I was wondering if there were any (other) ICS ROMs in the pipeline that had caught anyone's attention?

Nothing for the GS2 is reliable enough for me yet.

Virtuous Quattro is at RC2 for HTC Desire S, Z and HD handsets and showcases ICS very nicely. If someone can give me an AOSP build like it for the GS2 I'll be a happy(ish) man. :)

I tried LP1 and LP2 and was anxious to get back to KK5 so my battery would last more than 8 hours. I am watching for the next version and will try it when it comes out but until someone comes up with a good custom ROM for ICS like CheckROM, I will be staying on KK5.

I am looking for a good ICS Rom for my GS2, but I just don't seem to find something that I believe to be reliable. I kind of missed the latest releases for Galaxy S2 Roms lately. I assume I should wait for something stable and reliable, or is Checkrom good enough for daily use?

Check rom is based on gingerbread 2.3.6 KK5 and not ICS. It does have an ICS theme that you can install if you wish. I run it and it is ok.There is the Beta 5 of checkrom floating around but I don't think it is based on any of the current builds of ICS either. I was going to try out the latest ICS beta (LP6) but I have read it is actually worse than LP2 so I'll continue waiting.

Ok, thanks for telling me :D I guess I will wait a little longer. So far I have a good working cognition 1.5.1 Rom running with all the goodness of the siyahkernel and amazing battery life. So until there is a fully baked ICS Rom, I'll be sticking to what works for me.

currently running criskelorom v38 and it got posted yesterday he is working on a ICS rom, thats one i will definitley be checking out

Not been posting on these forums for a long time but I've been rooting Android phones since the Hero came out.

I've been playing with ICS roms and they haven't been stable enough four daily use at all, if you need something reliable.

But, I've been running this Wanamlite rom v7.7 based off the latest Samsung leak and I can confirm that this is stable for daily use. I have a very occasional freeze on Gmail app but this just gets force closed in settings. I haven't found anything that doesn't work - GPS fine, battery life decent and on par with gingerbread roms, Google music works well.

So that's my recommendation- the browser speed is something else :D

AndyX ROM v3.1 is definitely good for everyday use. I'd recommend it for anyone wanting ICS on their SGS2 :D

I agree with Slug. There isn't anything out there that is stable enough for daily use. In fact, I read more posts every day from forum members who are struggling to get back to Gingerbread after trying ICS.

I am not alone in thinking this at the moment as quite a few of the well known and respected developers also echo this.

I see no point in switching to an inferior ROM with no real developer support at this time.

However, things are moving fast and it shouldn't be too long before we see some major improvements I hope.

I would be really surprised at not being able to get back to Gingerbread but then again, you need to know what you are doing.

If you are looking at the ROMs based on the Samsung leaks, these have rapid incremental releases from the developers tweaking them and fixing issues

The only reason I'm not jumping into ICS is file transfer issue :(
I tried using wifi to do file transfer but still failed to do so.
Wondering if there's any cable transfer like how Gingerbread does it.
I tried MTP and PTP it doesn't transfer too..
